1. The world most expensive swimsuit is worth $30 million dollars. It’s a bikini made with over 150 carats of D flawless Diamonds set in platinum. It was designed by Susan Rosen and Steinmetz Diamonds.
2. The largest swimsuit photo shoot took place in Sydney, Australia with 1,010 bikini-clad women on September 25, 2001. It was coordinated by Cosmopolitan and Venus Breeze as a celebration of “30 Days of Fashion and Beauty”.
3. In the 18th century, women wore long “bathing gowns” instead of the swimsuits we now have. They were made from wool or flannel and were sewn into their hems so that they would not float up.
