EDUCATION stakeholders in Narok have been asked to advocate for the rights of girls that have compromised education standards in the county.
Narok county education director Kariuki Manyuira said the players have a better chance of teaching the community on the need of a girl child education.
He was speaking yesterday in Narok during a governance and leadership workshop organised by I Choose Life – Africa.
“We should not give up advocating for girl’ education. We should fight practices like FGM, early marriages and teenage pregnancies that cause girls to drop out of school,” Manyuira said.
He asked NGOs in the county to sponsor provision of sanitary towels to keep girls in school.
