The Nigerian Tribune, the oldest surviving private newspaper in Nigeria has endorsed Africanrubiz’s Female Campus Gender Writing Competition. This came shortly after the Project Director, Association for the Advancement of Womanhood (AAWON) and initiator of Africanrubiz, Dr Kemi Wale-Olaitan and the Africanrubiz team paid a courtesy visit to the management of the African Newspapers of Nigeria (ANN) Plc, publishers of the Tribune titles, at the Imalefalafia, Oke-Ado, Ibadan, office.
This endorsement according to the Managing Director/Editor-in-Chief, Mr Edward Dicskon is a support in recognition of the relentless effort of Africanrubiz in empowering women and the girl child in Africa.
This support comes as a promise for media coverage, advisory on selection of the best female writer as well as encouragement for emerging winners for the Female Campus Gender Writing Competition.
Our team is currently working to make the grand finale of the competition which will take place early next year a remarkable one.
