Are you ready to learn to live a lighter life and full of well-being? Check out our health tips!
1. Try not to stress
The biggest problem most people face today is that they have a lot going on in their lives and need to reconcile everything.
Stress can have bad health consequences, from infertility to higher risks of depression, anxiety and heart disease.
So one of the most important health tips and the top of our list today is this: try to reduce your stress by doing one thing at a time and not worrying about anticipation and you will certainly experience milder days.
2. Do not do crazy diets
Eating healthier does not mean you have to give up your favorite glass of wine or a piece of chocolate cake from time to time.
The key is moderation. Always try to work with a blend of lean proteins, healthy fats, carbohydrates and fiber and you will be well on your way.
3. Do not overdo calcium consumption
Here’s one more important health tip today: Too much calcium in the body can increase the risk of kidney stones and heart disease.
If you are under 50, 1,000 milligrams a day is enough. For women over 50, 1,200 milligrams per day is recommended.
4. Vary Your Exercises
Women need a combination of aerobic and resistance/weight exercises at least 3 to 5 times a week to help prevent osteoporosis, heart disease, cancer, and diabetes.
Exercise also promotes good self-image, which is really important for a woman’s mental health. So this was chosen as one of today’s health tips.
5. Think about fertility
While some women face no problem getting pregnant at age 40, others may have their fertility reduced to 32.
If you want to have children, you need to worry about fertility. Talk to your doctor about your wishes and think about it while there is time.
6. Birth control should be a concern
While this is not one of the health tips we hear most about, it is very important.
Birth control may be frowned upon by some people, but not only can it prevent you from getting pregnant before it is ready, but it can also lower the risk of uterine and ovarian cancer, as well as regulate your menstrual cycle.
7. Go to the doctor at least once a year
New recommendations suggest that healthy women only need Pap smears every three years from the age of 21, but never ignore their annual checkup. This is one of the most important health tips.
8. Have a good sex
Sex reduces stress and may decrease the risk of chronic diseases, but only if it is good for you.
If something is preventing your sexual satisfaction, such as dryness or pain, talk to your doctor to find a solution.
9. Sleep well.
Sleep needs differ from one woman to another, but if you have trouble getting out of bed, get tired easily or have difficulty concentrating, you’re probably not getting enough sleep.
Recent studies suggest that lack of sleep can put you at increased risk of heart disease and psychological problems. So this is one of the health tips that can not be ignored.
10. Consider performing genetic tests
Doctors now can track family histories of breast cancer, ovarian cancer, and chronic diseases.
This helps in assessing the risk of you having one of these diseases and then considering preventative diseases. Do not stop talking to your doctor.
