7 Reasons Why Men Quit Relationships
Reason # 1: Many repressed emotions
Relationships are emotionally overwhelming, exhausting, and a high investment for both parties. They demand the best and the worst of individuals. Men have to be robust providers and a healthy male presence in the relationship, but even the best men can become emotionally oppressed and consumed by their intense repressed emotions.
When man can not deal with these emotions, he becomes anxious, nervous or sometimes closed. If he feels overwhelmed with stress and can not handle all the emotions in the relationship, he will eventually drift away from the source of his anguish.
Reason # 2: He feels he can not live up to expectations
What happens when you never feel good enough for someone else? You are disappointed and discouraged that you are never what your partner wants from you. Men who think they can never live up to their partners’ expectations often shy away from the negative feelings of disappointment that constantly depress them.
Reason # 3: Evil Overcomes Good
What causes a man to commit to a woman, and only a woman? What feeling is so powerful that it turns an independent man into a loving and loving partner? Love, admiration and devotion. Think about your current relationship – does your man feel these things?
If your relationship is in a constant state of negativity and stress, then the man will begin to wonder why he is engaged in a toxic relationship. If evil is constantly overcoming good, man will probably leave the relationship hoping to find a relationship in which he can always feel loved and valued.
Reason # 4: Your Physical Expectations Are Not Met
It’s true: relationships have a pattern of intimacy and each partner usually has its own set of physical expectations that they want to be met. What happens if neither partner is satisfied with their physical relationship?
“They become secretive with each other. They stop trusting each other,” said psychologist Lori Gordon. “They isolate themselves and move away emotionally from the relationship, often engaging in other activities – or other relationships. They can not talk without blaming, so they stop listening.”
Since passion has been extinguished, left the relationship, who can guarantee that the man will not leave also?
Reason # 5: He can not visualize a bright future
Unfortunately, we all do this, especially in the beginning of relationships. We’ve all created tests to see if the person we’re dating is going to stand the test of time. Men who do not visualize a future going well or as they imagined will often leave the relationship before feelings deepen.
Reason # 6: He can not cope with codependency
This reason is equally applicable to men and women, if you gave up everything and invested all that is, and expect to always be in that relationship, your man may leave because of the need to breathe.
Giving up hobbies, friends, family time, neglecting everything that one day defined you, just because of a relationship, sounds extremely needy, sticky and codependent.
If men think that the women with whom they have lost their own source of joy and depend heavily on them to be happy, they will probably go away.
Reason # 7: Admiration lost
Strong, happy, and lasting relationships are built and strengthened through admiration. If a man does not feel astonished, he will probably leave. Little things are the most important thing in a relationship.
Do you still send good morning and good evening messages to each other? Do you still laugh at the funny jokes he tells you? Do you still kiss good night? Are you giving attention to the minor and trivial details of your relationship that remind you that you still love and appreciate it?
If you are not doing these things, chances are he will wonder what his purpose is in your life, and he will probably go away.
