FEMALE GENITAL MUTILATION: A Stand against It.
Over the years, the African woman had suffered from this growing trend. With civilization and new trends, women are still buttered and left to wallow in pains and penury. Is there a way out? Look at what African Ruby Rising and Splash FM has said and would be doing about it.

Female Genital Mutilation is defined by procedures which involve partial or total removal of the external female genitalia and/or injury to the female genital organs, whether for cultural or any other non-therapeutic reasons.

HEALTH PROBLEMS RELATED TO FGM/C INCLUDE BUT NOT LIMITED TO THE FOLLOWING
1. Bleeding out
2. Severe infection
3. Retention of urine
4. Complication during pregnancy
5. Death

February 6 is the International Day for Zero tolerance to Female Genital Mutilation. We thus join hands with vibrant organizations to lend our voice to make sure it does not continue to the next generation.

OUR STAND
Women and girls should not have to think to endure the pain of their human rights being stripped away from them. Together we can make a difference and save millions from undergoing such practice.
