God made a wonderful mother, a mother who never grows old, with gifts of which some have not realized because of their attitude towards God and things of the world. He knew He could not be everywhere so He made mothers to whom we attribute all our morals, intellectuals and physical success. He made her smile sunshine and He moulded her heart of pure gold. In her eyes He placed bright shining stars and on her cheek, fair roses you see. The prayers of a mother have kept the family stronger and waxed their love even more, but alas we should not forget that we need to get closer to God to realize this because it’s never too late to do so.
A mother is the trusted friend we have when trials, heavy and sudden chaos fall upon us, when adversity takes the place of prosperity, when friends who rejoice with us in our sunshine desert us, when troubles thicken around us, still she will cling to us and endeavor by her kind precept’s and counsel to dissipate the clouds of darkness and cause peace to return to our hearts. It is important to know that those gifts God has given which are not only for you, but for the good and welfare of other people for the sake of His kingdom. By and large, mothers and housewives are the only workers who do not have regular time off, they are great vocation less class. Her heart is a deep abyss at the bottom of which you will always find forgiveness and though youth fades, love droops and leaves of friendship fall, a mother’s secret hope outlives them all. Whatever God has given you is not only for your benefit, rather it is for you to use it as an extension of God’s hand to other people by works of charity. Be a mother that is committed not just to your family but to the lives of others.
